Who is eligible to make IRA Contributions?
For a Traditional IRA, anyone under age 70 ½ who earns income may contribute. For a Roth IRA, anyone who has earned income and a modified adjusted gross income below $150,000 (married and filing jointly) or $95,000 (single) may contribute the lesser of $3,000 or 100% of earned income.
